I am all about helping people. Since 2002, I have served as president of Snowman & Associates Consulting, Inc., a multi-state insurance agency licensed to sell life, health, and disability insurance. With 20+ years of experience in the health and life insurance industry, I offer in-depth knowledge and expertise in all aspects of insurance coverage-including plan analysis, cost comparison, and claims management. I stay on top of my insurance education by taking the challenging advanced courses. I am also a Member of the National Social Security Advisors since August of 2014.
Why Do I Do What I Do?
I have been through the motions of caring for my loved ones and having to navigate through a series of complex systems. I have an aging parent with Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s Induced Dementia, another family member with Alzheimer’s disease. I have a child with Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome). I have friends who have suffered from various health issues, including caring for an elderly friend who became gravely ill. When a crisis befalls, it is of relief to be able to call someone who has “been there and done that.”
My company, Snowman & Associates, provides comprehensive services in the areas of health insurance (Medicare, individual-both on and off the Marketplace, and international/travel insurance), life insurance, disability insurance and long term care insurance. We work with national insurance companies and are dedicated to ensuring that you understand the insurance product you are interested in, how it works, and how it will affect you and your family should the need arise to make a claim.
In 2010, Snowman & Associates offered a consulting service that reviews your current situation by creating financial needs assessments. Some services include finding personal care and/or in-home living arrangements, to working with families to understand the dynamics of end of life planning for individuals. We work closely with estate attorneys and elder law attorneys, CPAs, social workers if our client is in need of legal, accounting, and social service assistance that we are not able to provide.
